Chuck Willis And His Band - It's Too Late (BSN Stereo Mix)

Harold “Chuck” Willis was known as “The King Of The Stroll” for his later hit “C.C. Rider,” which inspired the stroll dance after watching Chuck and his band perform the number. To stand out from the crowd, he wore a turban when performing. “It’s Too Late” was released in May, 1956, and made it to #3 on the Billboard R&B chart. In addition to making top-10 on many local R&B stations, it reached top-10 on top-40 station KQV in Pittsburgh and WKWK in Wheeling, West Virginia.
