Right Place Wrong Time by Otis Rush Guitar Lesson by Johnny Burgin

I teach a Chicago Blues Guitar Workshop (along with Billy Flynn) the first week of June in Chicago, and this classic by Otis Rush will be one of the songs we go over. I really like the III/IV change in bars 11 and 12, and Otis could have played or sang it better. I go over the rhythm guitar style (by Fred Burton), the bassline, and some of the great, almost slide guitar like things Otis does in his FOUR amazing solos. Have fun with these big bends, wide vibratos, and slow, singable lines. I'd love to hear your Otis memories in the comments, thanks!
