Everytime you lose , The son will get stat nerfs making the fight easier until you win. If you fail during desperation , it is still counted as a win and you get a treasure bag , making desp optional. The stat nerfs stack and the mechanic can be disabled in configs , hence MAX difficulty in this context. And also desperation is cleared in this footage even if it is optional. very amazing master + legendary mode rework , with one slight issue... lightning being 1 shot is FOWL bruh , i got a 0% clearrate for not getting hit on desperation phase due to the lightning... you better get the switch consumable used unless you want to suffer... #terraria #tmodloader #homeward #son
