Welcome to our Sunday 11AM Service. We are glad you could join us for today’s time of worship! Join us for the last week of our series The Cross: Mary Magdalene. Mary Magdalene’s encounter with Christ completely changed her life. She went from being oppressed to being delivered, and ultimately became one of Jesus’ most valued witnesses. After Jesus was crucified and died on the cross, His body was wrapped in spices and linen and placed in a tomb. In John’s account, it’s unclear why Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early. She may have been there to complete part of the burial ritual or simply to grieve. Regardless of her intention, Mary was chosen to be one of the first to witness the empty tomb and, later, to see the resurrected Christ.
