BIG BOY 4014 !!!! Coast to Coast Tour !!

This is a big one !!! This video was made over the course of all last week !! Starting off in the middle of nowhere in Sand Pass, NV !! Chasing all the way west to Portola, CA !! We however skipped it coming west down the Feather River Canyon, but did some pacing shots on the Valley Subdivision north of Roseville !! They also did an extra run to the California State Railroad Museum to have Union Pacific’s Jim Vena speak along with Mr. Ed Dickens !! After the extra run, they head back to Roseville, (mind you with no diesels) and get ready for the public event for the next two days !! Then, we hear that the weather on Donner pass was going to be way to rough apparently, so they rerouted 4014 EASTBOUND through the Feather River Canyon !! Eastbound traffic is almost unheard of on the canyon because the canyon is usually meant for westbound traffic, so this was quite the treat ! We chased from Wheatland, CA all the way to Keddie, CA on our final day !! Overall this was one of the greatest chases I have ever done, and this video had to be one of my favorites to put together !
