With rocky terrain, scenic lakeside views, wooded trails, and miles of hiking ahead, this was no ordinary day on the trail. Completing 26 miles in a single day meant pushing through fatigue, fighting the urge to stop, and putting one foot in front of the other when things got tough. As the miles added up, so did the exhaustion. But the goal was simple: finish what I started and make it back to my car before calling it a day. Was it tough? Absolutely. Was it worth it?
