ECG Misinformation the Internet Compensatory Pauses

There is a lot of misinformation on the internet regarding this ECG topic: compensatory and non-compensatory pauses. Examples of misinformation about this topic abound on the internet - on websites and in videos! There is a right way and a wrong way to go about addressing these determinations and I think you should know the right way! "But that's the way I was taught! That's the way we've always done that!" Sorry... not an excuse. The problem here is that a lot of ECG instruction is done by instructors who themselves have only an introductory-level knowledge of the subject - and often with seious lapses of accuracy! I have taught advanced ECG interpretation all over the world and my students have included emergency physicians, cardiologists and electrophysiologists. I want to make sure that YOU are being steered in the right direction!
