The song has had a long life, recorded by big bands like Glenn Miller (1939) and Harry James (1946), as well as being included in the Marx Brothers' film "A Night in Casablanca" (1946). It was Connie Francis' breakout hit in 1957 (in 12/8 time). Marie Osmond (1975) also recorded it. Isham Jones led one of the most popular dance bands of the '20s and '30s.
