AVUS: TalkBack | Episode 01 – Mamoia Colney | An In-Depth Artist Conversation

Some conversations are about more than music. They're about people, friendships, shared experiences and the communities that bring us together. Welcome to AVUS: TalkBack — an artist conversation series that goes beyond performances to explore the stories, relationships and experiences behind the musicians. For our first episode, we travelled to Aizawl, Mizoram, to spend time with Mamoia Colney — an accomplished drummer and a valued member of the AVUS artist family. In this candid conversation, we talk about Mamoia's musical journey, his decision to associate with AVUS, the vibrant drum festival culture of Mizoram and the importance of building a stronger drumming community. We also share personal moments, experiences and thoughts as two musicians connected by a common passion for music. For us, this association is about more than an artist endorsement. It's about building trust, supporting musicians, recognising local talent and being actively involved in the communities that keep music alive. At AVUS, we believe that the growth of a brand should go hand in hand with the growth of its musical community. AVUS: TalkBack | Episode 01 — Mamoia Colney Beyond the Music. Behind the Connection.
