Couldn't find the photographer for the thumbnail TOTAL STATS: 10 G, 11.1 IP, 1 R, 5 H, 13 K, 1 BB. 1 Saves, 3 Holds A compilation of all of Brandyn Garcia's 143 pitches thrown in the month of September this season. They all come from Baseball Savant, where i downloaded every one of them from the home broadcast perspective, which is the default. (Note that this is also why they are cut weirdly.) If you think sticking to the pitcher's team's broadcasts or the opposing team broadcast throughout a whole compilation would be better, or if you wanna request a player in a certain timeframe, then let me know! Also let me know if i've made any mistakes please!! a few others stats stuff if you care: 1/3 inherited runners scored, .135/.200/.243 slash against, 24.1 Whiff%, 81.7 average exit velo, 1.52 aLI, 1.181 WPA, 64.3 STR% (92/143), 5.24 RE24 Lots of cool Statcast info can be found through the Baseball Savant search engine. Maybe you were wondering how many whiffs each of Garcia's pitches got? You can put in the dates of September and that you'd like to find swing & miss pitches in the "pitch result" query, and then change the way pitches are grouped in the "grouped by" query to Player & Pitch Type, and it should show you the answer to that question. Here's a direct link to it, which you can also use as a starting point to learn how to use the search queries to find lots of other interesting info: https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/statca... (You will have to highlight the link to copy then paste it into your search bar... if you don't want to follow the link, the answer is he got 9 whiffs on his sweeper, 4 on his sinker, and 1 on his cutter.) I don't like watching highlights because i feel that they water down the game too much. But i often forget to watch pitchers i like, especially closers and other relievers, pitch live. So i thought this would be cool to try... they are cut weirdly because that's how Statcast clips them automatically. In the future, especially if I do try making compilations for starters, I might try seeing if I can try finding sources to extract full half-innings from.
