I Built a Haunted Piano That Actually Plays! | RUIFAM Time Piano

YouTube Description The lovely people at RUIFAM sent me their beautiful Time Piano to build — and this one turned out to be rather more than an ordinary wooden puzzle. 🎹 Not only do the keys actually play notes, but the piano can also connect through Bluetooth and be used as a speaker. I was expecting all those moving parts to make this a fairly tricky build, but apart from one particularly determined set of elastic bands 😂, I found the whole process surprisingly relaxing and really enjoyable. Once the piano was complete, I decided not to completely transform it. Instead, I took inspiration from the beautiful polished walnut piano my Nan had when I was growing up and experimented with using diluted acrylic paints as a wood stain. The result was far better than I expected. I finished the piano with: ✨ warm walnut tones ✨ darker stained details ✨ traditional black-and-white keys ✨ deep red heart accents ✨ a protective Mod Podge finish And because Halloween is approaching, naturally I couldn’t resist giving it somewhere suitably atmospheric to live… A ruined gothic setting filled with ivy, old stonework and candlelight. The full build of the haunted backdrop will be coming in my next video. 🕯️🌙 Thank you so much to RUIFAM for sending me the Time Piano to build. Would you keep this piano in its natural wood finish, or would you customise it too? Thank you so much for watching. ❤️ Music @artlist.ao Marco Martini - Theory of Lost Memories Limitless by Kevin Graham Marco Martini - We Are Not One Jakub Pietras - A Long Time Ago in a Tower Far Far Away Shahead Mostafafar - The Garden of Love Marco Martini - The Fault in Our Stars C.K.
