Nashville Sunday Night • Cool Cars, Open Streets & Different Side of Broadway • Streetwalkin’ Ep. 85

Sunday night in downtown Nashville felt a little different this week. Recorded September 6, 2026, from roughly 9:00 to 10:00 p.m., Streetwalkin’ Ep. 85 stays almost entirely on Lower Broadway for a look at a special Labor Day Weekend Sunday night while a huge chunk of the city is still across the river at Nissan Stadium for Louisville vs. Ole Miss. With parts of downtown opened up differently than a typical weekend night, the streets themselves have a little more breathing room while the sidewalks stay busy. There are also a surprising number of interesting vehicles cruising through downtown, so if you like cars, this episode has considerably more automotive sightseeing than the average Streetwalkin’. I also make a short side quest up 2nd Avenue, which is unusually closed, and poke around the Ryman Auditorium on a rare dark night with no show happening. We check back in on America’s Tailgate, which turns out to be considerably less exciting than all that construction suggested, then head right back into Broadway for a relaxed look at Nashville on a Sunday night.
