A quiet weekday morning drive through everyday Japan. I had a small errand to take care of that morning, so I decided to take a leisurely drive and capture a little of what an ordinary morning looks like around here. Along the way, you'll see children walking to school on a damp morning, people getting ready for work, cars making their morning commute, and people already outside directing traffic. There's nothing unusual happening. No special event, no famous destination — just people beginning another ordinary day in Japan. There is a little light drizzle along the way, but otherwise it's simply a calm morning drive through local streets and neighborhoods. These everyday scenes may not seem particularly special when you live here, but they are also part of the Japan I want to record and share.
