LIVE: Pastor Pam Interview - She Tried to Hold JP Miller Accountable. The Church Wouldn’t.

Pastor Pam Muise, the Solid Rock pastor from Netflix’s Death of the Pastor’s Wife, sits down and goes past the documentary on John-Paul Miller. She says a church phone started receiving his texts about picking up a young woman at the airport — and that the elders had no power to stop him. In Death of the Pastor’s Wife, Pastor Pam says she was brought in after JP and Mica’s relationship became public while both were still married to other people. She first treated it as a one-time mistake. Then, she says, the real John-Paul Miller became evident. Pastor Pam says the elders listened and did nothing — and that she learned Solid Rock’s structure left them with no authority over him at all. Mica Miller was found dead on April 27, 2024, at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, North Carolina. Her death was ruled a suicide. In December 2025 a federal grand jury indicted John-Paul Miller on cyberstalking and false statements. He has pleaded not guilty. He has not been charged in connection with her death.
