Why Growing Up Doesn't Mean Losing Your Inner Child 🎠 | Sue's Daily Journal Day 49

What happens when you stop taking life quite so seriously? 😂 I'm a big kid at heart — and I'm perfectly happy about it. ❤️ In today's journal, I'm talking about imagination, creativity and why I don't think we ever have to completely leave our inner child behind just because we're grown up. From discovering diamond art after surgery put an unexpected stop to my attempts at crochet, to collecting stones and feathers in nature, dreaming up magical stories, planning a chakra-coloured stone mosaic and even contemplating writing a children's book… 😂 My mind is always coming up with something! I also talk about why I love having lots of different interests and hobbies, and how these things give me somewhere to focus, create, explore and simply enjoy myself. Sometimes we don't need another thing to achieve. Sometimes we just need to play, be curious and do something because it makes us happy. So here's your reminder: You don't have to be serious and sensible all the time. Let your imagination run wild. Go outside. Notice the little things. Find something that makes you lose track of time.
