God Didn’t Give Us a Better Checklist | The Ministry of the New Covenant | 2 Corinthians 3

What does God actually do in the heart when a sinner is saved? In 2 Corinthians 3, Paul contrasts the old covenant with the new: “Not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.” The law can expose and condemn, but it cannot give life. Then Paul says: “Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.” In this short audiobook, we explore repentance, faith, and the ministry of the new covenant. What is biblical repentance? How is it different from sorrow, reformation, or works? And how does it fit with “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”? God didn’t give us a better checklist. He gives life. Repentance turns Godward. Faith rests in Christ. Christ saves. --- Written by Joshua M. Sells.
