Austin and I tackle Monument Ridge in Wyoming for our first Jeep Badge of Honor. The climb brings open ridge views, a historic fire lookout, a little mud, and a reminder that 71 degrees can still feel cold to Florida people.
The trip starts near Bear Lake, with breakfast beside Backpack, a stop at the Paris Tabernacle in Idaho, and autumn colors on the drive through western Wyoming. Then we leave the campers below and head for Monument Ridge in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Which stop would have made you pull over? Tell us in the comments, and please subscribe to Slow and Steady: Camping Parks for more Jeep trips and camping adventures.
