Hi all! Today we have a route visual on Dublin Bus' Route 79 that starts at Aston Quay, Dublin City and finishes at Spiddal Park, Ballyfermot. This route has ceased operations today due to the launch of the G-Spine and route 60, replacing old routes 79, 79A and the western part of Route 40. This route goes via: Aston Quay, The Quays, Heuston Station, Kilmainham, Sarsfield Road, Lally Road, Decies Road, Thomond Road, Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot Parade, Clifden Road, Cherry Orchard, Blackditch Road and Spiddal Park. This route was operated from Dublin Bus Conyngham Road depot and gets any bus type from the depot. Route 79 was around 40 minutes long for the full route. The bus was PA221, an Alexander-Dennis Enviro400ER from 2022.
