🚗 Mumbai to Goa Road Journey | Scenic Monsoon Drive via Konkan 🌧️ Welcome to "My Travel Plans," where we explore the wonders of India! 🇮🇳 On 1st July 2025, we set out on an unforgettable monsoon road trip from Mumbai to Goa, accompanied by my close friend and Navy batchmate. The rain-soaked Konkan route, lush greenery, and moments of spiritual peace made this journey truly special. 🌧️ Rainy Season Adventure Since it was the monsoon season, we experienced moderate to heavy showers throughout the drive. While the rain made the surroundings beautifully green and added a magical vibe to the journey, it also brought a few challenges. In certain stretches, poor road conditions due to rain slowed us down and impacted our travel time. 🛕 First Stop: Shri Parshuram Mandir, Chiplun Our first halt was the sacred Shri Parshuram Temple, nestled on the banks of the Vashishti River in Chiplun. Built in the 18th century, this temple dedicated to Lord Parshuram is admired for its intricate architecture and peaceful ambiance. It was a serene and spiritual start to our trip. 🌴 Through the Heart of Konkan to Goa Post darshan, we continued our scenic drive through the breathtaking Konkan region. The beauty of the rain-washed landscape was unmatched, though the journey turned a bit long due to weather and road conditions. 🕘 Arrival in Goa After an adventurous 15-hour road journey, we finally reached Goa around 9 PM.
