Ludwig van Beethoven: “Moonlight” Sonata — I. Adagio sostenuto, Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor, Op. 27 No. 2 The famous first movement of the "Moonlight" Sonata (1801), which Beethoven asked to be played "very delicately and with the dampers raised": a quiet murmur of triplets, deep octaves in the bass and a slow, singing dotted-rhythm melody, rising through a darker middle section over a long G♯ pedal and sinking at the end into the deepest pianissimo. Requests welcome: tell me in the comments which piece to animate next.
