SWITCH22 picked up where SWITCH left off — wakeboarding at the center of an action sports culture that was exploding in every direction. Things were moving fast. Wakeboarding was progressing almost month to month, wakeskating was beginning to develop an identity of its own, freestyle motocross was taking off, and the influence of skateboarding and snowboarding was changing the style and attitude of a new generation of riders. SWITCH22 brought together some of the people who were right in the middle of it. Featuring Scott Byerly, Shaun Murray, Darin Shapiro, Parks Bonifay, Randall Harris, Steve Wahlman and more. These weren't just some of the best riders of the time — many of them were helping shape where wakeboarding was headed next. It was also an early look at a young Randall Harris and the West Coast crew bringing a different style and attitude to wakeboarding. That influence would become much bigger in the years that followed.
