1993-10-25 Ross Attacks Alan-Michael

25 Oct 1993 - Blake visits the Coopers at the hospital (after baby Marina's ear surgery) and discusses her job search with them. Meanwhile, Ed asks Eve if she would consider hiring Blake as her assistant for her research project. At Bess Lowell's nursing home, Ross and Alan-Michael wait while Alexandra and Henry meet with the director. Alan-Michael tries to make small talk with Ross, who actively ignores his efforts. Ross snaps and lashes out at Alan-Michael when he pushes too far. Ross is representing Spaulding again to reverse the biggest loss of his career and to get back what Alexandra and the Chamberlains lost, but Ross thinks Alan-Michael doesn't deserve anything back. Alexandra is dismayed to see them fighting like schoolboys, but Alan-Michael suggests the altercation was necessary. Later, Blake is looking for Ed when she accidentally overhears Lillian confess her affair with Ed to Eve. Alexandra realizes that Alan-Michael isn't prepared to help, so she, Ross, and Henry go discuss the situation with Ed. Alex is dismayed that Ross is involved with Roger's daughter, but Ross reassures her that Blake wouldn't betray them. Blake reports to Ross that there are no jobs at the hospital, just as Eve comes by with the research assistant job offer. Blake initially declines Eve's offer but reconsiders after seeing Ross' expression.
