How to Put God at the Centre of Your Career | Redefining Success as a Christian

What does success look like when God, rather than achievement, sits at the centre of your career? Many of us have inherited a familiar definition of success: work hard, gain the qualifications, build a good career, earn more, get promoted, become financially secure, and keep moving towards the next milestone. There is nothing inherently wrong with ambition, professional growth, financial stability, or wanting to use your gifts well, but as Christians, there is a deeper question worth asking: Have we allowed God to define what success should look like for our lives? In this first video of the Building a God-Centred Career Mini-Series, we're exploring how to pursue professional excellence and meaningful career goals without allowing achievement, salary, status, or job titles to become the source of our identity and worth. It means learning to steward your gifts, opportunities, responsibilities, influence, and ambitions faithfully while remembering that your career is one part of the life God has entrusted to you, not the measure of your worth. Perhaps the better question isn't simply, "How successful can I become?" Perhaps it is: "How faithful can I be with what God has placed in my hands?"
