LYRICS The news keeps arriving, the errands won't end I'm trying to answer each message they send But Christmas invites me to set down the race Remember the Savior, His mercy and grace A child in a manger, a promise fulfilled I breathe and remember that God loves us still Christmas peace, let my hurried heart slow Jesus is here, and His grace helps me grow Prince of our peace, may Your kindness increase In all that we're living, a little more peace Christmas peace, not a world without care But trust in the Savior whose love meets us there The angels proclaimed it above the field Good news of a Savior, God's mercy revealed Not peace we can purchase by making things right But hope in the coming of Christ as our light He enters the world with its worry and need And teaches our hearts how to trust as He leads Christmas peace, let my hurried heart slow Jesus is here, and His grace helps me grow Prince of our peace, may Your kindness increase In all that we're living, a little more peace Christmas peace, not a world without care But trust in the Savior whose love meets us there I'll carry that peace into all that I say Let kindness be stronger than getting my way I'll listen a little and loosen my grip And keep a harsh word from escaping my lips This Christmas His presence can shape what I do The peace that He gives can be shared with you too You don't ask us to act like our troubles aren't real You give us Your presence and room to heal The child who was born is our faithful Lord Our hope is secure in the truth of Your word When Christmas is over, Your mercy won't cease We'll walk in Your grace, gentle Prince of Peace Christmas peace, let my hurried heart slow Jesus is here, and His grace helps me grow Prince of our peace, may Your kindness increase In all that we're living, a little more peace Christmas peace, not a world without care But trust in the Savior whose love meets us there Christmas peace, let our grateful praise rise To Jesus, born under Bethlehem skies #ChristianMusic #ChristmasJazz #ChristmasWorship #ChristianChristmas #ChristmasMusic #GospelJazz #JesusIsBorn #Praisely
