About Helen - A Warburtons Farmer During this LIVE event we meet Farmer Helen on her farm near Barnsley, South Yorkshire to discover where she farms and ask her some questions. Farmer Helen grows milling wheat for bread making, barley for feeding animals, and beans, which can either be milled into flour for people to eat, or go into fish food. As well as growing arable crops, Farmer Helen has some grassland, which is managed largely for wildlife and grazed by a small flock of sheep. She is passionate about creating a working balance between growing crops for food and protecting wildlife.
