Falcons Have NOWHERE Left To Hide | Counter-Points

Thorin and Pimp open on why the Thunderpick World Championship is a must win for Falcons, why replacing karrigan may not fix anything, and why NiKo is quietly the biggest reason Falcons keep dying in playoffs. Thorin frames the event as the direct sequel to the CS Asia Championships, the tournament where losing to Legacy did more damage to Falcons than a second place finish ever should have. Pimp agrees it is a must win and then goes further, arguing it is a lose lose: the field is too weak for a trophy to move the needle, so Falcons can only damage themselves. From there the pair get into the karrigan question, with Pimp making the case that nobody is seriously discussing a different in game leader and that the community badly underrates how much extra workload the designated IGL carries compared to NiKo's current position, where he calls when he wants and takes none of the blame. Thorin counters with the HLTV numbers: Falcons look fine in group stages and collapse in playoffs, and NiKo is the single biggest offender in that split. The pair then predict the Thunderpick winner, discuss the asterisk season of stand ins and half finished rosters, and argue PGL Bucharest will tell us far more about FUT, Legacy, Aurora and NaVi than this event will.
