Astralis Are ONE Transfer From Tier 2 | Snake & Banter (ft KingT)

Thorin and Mauisnake are joined by returning guest KingT to open on Astralis, and the argument is not about the new players so much as the drop that is coming the moment their best rifler leaves. The show runs the Good/Bad/Ugly format and starts in the ugly, with KingT putting Astralis on the list of legacy organizations that quietly slid into tier two and never came back. Thorin argues the deeper loss is identity, that the Danish identity was the one thing nobody else could copy, and that both transfers are gambles rather than upgrades. From there the crew turns on G2, where the AWP change has not produced a more relevant team, the CT side has lost its structure, and the team's most reliable player is now the lowest rated on the roster. Mauisnake defends the T side calling, Thorin refuses to credit an in-game leader whose rounds get rescued at the end by one player. Thorin then makes the case that one of the best young riflers in Asia is burning his prime in tier two when half the teams in the top fifteen would be instantly better with him. Plus: why NIP look sharper since the IGL change and whether the credit is going to the right person, why pushing the VRS cutoff to under a month before the major fixed the dead zone at the end of the season, whether Aurora will touch a roster that their own fans are attached to, and a Premium subscriber hypothetical about selling a star for cash that turns into a conversation about what organizations can actually afford. Topics covered: ⦁ Astralis fall into tier two the moment their best rifler leaves ⦁ Giving up the Danish identity cost more than the players did ⦁ G2 are not closer to a trophy after the AWP change ⦁ G2's most consistent player is suddenly their lowest rated ⦁ Is the T side good, or is one player cleaning up every round? ⦁ Falcons and whether another title comes before the major ⦁ One of Asia's best riflers is stuck in tier two ⦁ NIP look better, but is the IGL really the reason? ⦁ The VRS cutoff under a month before the major fixed the schedule ⦁ Should Aurora break up a roster their fans love? ⦁ Fan topic: would Vitality or G2 sell a star for millions?
