Simplicity S9300 Hat Pattern Review | Sewing Chemo Caps as a Handmade Gift

I'm reviewing the Simplicity S9300 hat pattern, a stretch fabric multi-style pattern that's perfect for sewing soft comfort chemotherapy caps. As a qualified milliner I don't usually work with stretch fabric, so this one was new territory for me, but with a close friend currently going through chemotherapy I needed something quick, gentle on the scalp and easy to sew without drafting a pattern from scratch. In this video I make styles C and F, covering fabric cutting, machine and hand sewing, and my honest take on the instructions (spoiler, you'll need a little creative flair to get there). If you're after a beginner friendly project for a sewing bee, hospice or charity group, this pattern is a great place to start, everyone can pitch in whether they're cutting or sewing.
