should boys and girls in school really be made to sit on the same bench? In many schools, seating arrangements are designed to prevent students from talking during class. But could these arrangements unintentionally create mental stress, discomfort, anxiety, and social pressure, especially for teenagers? In this video, I discuss a real counselling experience involving a Class 9 student who was struggling with academic pressure, long school hours, limited breaks, reduced physical activity, and discomfort with her classroom environment. We also look at: The impact of seating arrangements on students Academic and homework pressure Long school and travel hours Lack of relaxation and social interaction Reduced opportunities for play and physical activity How parents can recognize signs of stress in children Why schools need to focus on children's emotional well-being, not just marks and discipline Every child is different. Not every child has the same capacity to handle academic and social pressure. A good school is not simply a strict school. A good school is one that understands children. What do you think? Should boys and girls be made to sit together on the same bench?
