Santiana - Edinburgh Shanty Co. at Frankenstein

Santiana is one of those shanties we do at the majority of our shanty nights. This video shows you the tail-end of the teaching - we go through every single song before we sing it all together, and if the room sounds confident our lead shantyman Adam will throw some harmonies out as well. We often get asked if people should prepare or learn shanties ahead of time. You're more than welcome to listen to a few, especially if you've never heard of sea shanties before. But we teach you all you need to know! There are lyrics books on the night and all lyrics can be found on our website as well. If this sounds like something you want to do, check out edinburghshantynight.com for all our upcoming dates! Anyone can join in and the vast majority of our events are free and unticketed.
