Broken Arrow Skyrace Vertical Kilometer (VK)

Friday, June 17, 2022 - The VK is no joke. I thought this would be a nice warmup race to Sunday's 26K. Reality set in and this became a tough course of steep inclines over 4.25 miles. Total vert gain 3135. Lots of fun, but with the altitude couldn't get a handle on breathing. Should have came earlier to acclimate to the altitude. Music: The sounds of my footsteps and heavy breathing.
