This is the second-longest piano concerto that Beethoven ever wrote (third-longest if you consider the transcription of his violin concerto to his sixth, which I do). So quite understandably, this took me a long time to write. Not to mention that cadenza at the end of the first movement. In my opinion, I don't like it that much because musically, it's way to disjointed compared to the main body of the movement, and it kind of shows in my transcription, as I think I was relatively lazy with my writing and didn't bother trying to show off any quartet flashiness that you might associate with other Beethoven string quartets. But regardless, I happy with how the rest of it turned it, and I do think it's quite feasible for this to be performed in real life if anybody is at all interested. This is the first concerto for string quartet in a series of 5 that I will be doing for all of Beethoven's piano concertos, which I do think will take me a monumental amount of time and effort. But oh boy, I'm looking forward to doing No. 3, 4, and 5 when I come around. I had a hard time choosing the recording for this video. It was a toss-up between Brendel and Zimmerman, and I ultimately chose Zimmerman to his more particular articulation in certain sections. Not to mention, his conducting is pretty good, so please check out the original video here:    • L.V.BEETHOVEN: piano concerto no°1 - Kryst...   Sheet music and parts here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder...
