Fall Family Day in Northern Michigan | Field Trip to Uncle Frank’s

We spent a fall family day at Uncle Frank’s Apple Town in Northern Michigan 🍎🍂 We’ve been coming here every year since October 2022 (with the exception of missing 2025), and it has become such a fun little tradition for us. Charli absolutely loves going, and honestly, so do we. The apples and donuts are always delicious, but one of my favorite things about Uncle Frank’s is that there’s more to do than just stop in for cider and treats. Their corn maze is a scavenger-hunt style maze where you search for hole punches throughout the maze instead of simply trying to find the exit. Once the kids find all of them, they get a little candy prize at the end, which is always a hit. The hayride is another favorite. Along the way, the kids learn a little about milkweed, and the ride stops at the creek where they get to make a wish and release little wish boats made from environmentally friendly materials. It’s such a sweet experience and one of those little traditions Charli looks forward to.
