*NOSTALGIA* Journey on 228 | Metroline West - Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Dart (DE1646 - YX58FRD)

Recently, after the 228 passed to Metroline, DE’s decided to show up on the route as the route cannot use DEL’s as a full temporary allocation, and DE’s are quite common on the route now. This is giving lots of bus enthusiasts flashbacks on when 228 was previously Metroline till 2019, DE’s were the main allocation on the 228 before Tower Transit (now known at London Transit RATP GROUP) took the route with Streetlites. Only 1 DE from WJ is on 228 everyday, and personally I think that DE’s should do 228 more often because DEL’s are boring.
