Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sauté the whole spices for about a minute. 2. Add the sliced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook until the onion softens. 3. Add 3 tablespoons of water and stir. Add the beef and sauté for 10 minutes on medium flame. 4. Add the powdered spices along with 1 kashmiri red dry chilli and few curry leaves. Saute for 5 minutes . 5. Add a tbsp of yogurt, and a medium sized potato. Mix well and saute for 3 minutes . 6. Add 1¼–1½ cups of water, depending on your preferred gravy consistency, and salt to taste. 7. Pressure-cook for 4 whistles, or until the beef is tender. Cooking time may vary depending on your pressure cooker and the cut of beef. *Cooking Tip:* Cooking time may vary depending on the cut of beef and the pressure cooker used. If the beef is not tender after four whistles, check the potato first. If it's already cooked, remove it and continue cooking the beef until tender. Serve hot with rice, chapati, or bread!
