If I had to start calisthenics again from zero, this is exactly what I'd do. No skills, no fancy exercises. Just a few simple movements with one clear goal: hitting rep targets that get me out of the beginner stage before I move on. I trained at the highest level for 20 years. National team cycling, then Hyrox Elite 15. After my athletic career I moved on, and I found that less works better for my life now, with a small family and two companies. This video is what I would do if I started calisthenics again today, and what I would do if I felt stuck with my training. Most men make bodyweight training harder than it is, because the fitness industry gives them something new every single week. The more confused you are, the more you buy. And the cost is not money. It is years of switching programs, quitting, and starting again without ever giving the simple thing a real shot. In this video I break down exactly what to ignore, what to focus on, the rep targets to chase in your first year, and how to actually get there. This is beginner calisthenics done right, with no complicated programming and no endless exercise variations. What you'll learn in this video: The five basic bodyweight movements that cover your whole body The rep targets to aim for in year one before you move on Why skills and fancy exercises stall most beginners How to structure calisthenics training that fits a normal life Why three to four sessions a week is all you need How to progress with simple movements over time Why consistency beats intensity for men training at home This is a full body calisthenics workout approach you can start today with almost no equipment. All you need is a bar, a band, and the floor. No gym, no commute, no complicated routine. This is how to get lean, strong and capable without living in a gym. If you're a man in your 30s, 40s or 60s who wants to build a strong, lean body, get stronger in the basics, and feel physically capable again, this is the plan I would follow if I started calisthenics again today. No more program-hopping. No more guessing what to train. Just simple movements, done consistently, for years.
