Hello Fellow Yarn Lovers! Welcome back to another yarn-filled adventure! This time we're heading to the Newark Knitting & Wool Show 2026, and I'm so excited to bring you along for a wander around this wonderful fibre event. The Newark Knitting & Wool Show takes place at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire and is a fantastic day out for knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, felters, crafters and anyone who simply loves yarn and all things woolly. And this year was a little bit different for me because I've been moving house... which means I already have WAY too much yarn! 😂 So, despite being surrounded by gorgeous yarn and fibre, I actually managed to leave the show without buying anything! Yes... you read that correctly. I DIDN'T BUY ANY YARN! 🙌😂 It wasn't easy, though! There were so many beautiful things to look at, from hand-dyed yarns and knitting supplies to crochet goodies, fibre, spinning and weaving equipment, handmade gifts and lots of lovely things for yarn and fibre enthusiasts. The Newark Knitting & Wool Show brings together a great selection of independent makers, designers, dyers and specialist craft businesses, making it a lovely place to discover new yarns, meet fellow crafters and get plenty of inspiration for your next project. As well as all the shopping opportunities, the show also features workshops, demonstrations and activities, so there's plenty to see and do even if, like me, you're trying very hard to resist adding another skein to your stash!
