What Is Revival? And Is It Happening Today? | Hunger & Thirst Podcast

What does REAL revival look like? Is America experiencing a spiritual awakening, or have we misunderstood what revival actually means? In Episode 3 of the Hunger & Thirst Podcast, host Josh Griffis sits down with Pastor Jeff Evans to discuss biblical revival, spiritual awakening, and what it really means to be a follower of Jesus. For many Christians, revival brings to mind tent meetings, weeklong church services, and powerful worship experiences. But what if revival isn't an event at all? What if it's the result of ordinary people faithfully following Jesus? From the 2023 Asbury Revival to historic prayer movements that changed entire communities, Josh and Jeff explore how God has moved throughout history and what that could look like in our generation. They also get personal about spiritual complacency, struggling to connect with God, and the difference between simply attending church and genuinely living out your faith. "Revival isn't an event. Revival is an outcome."
