Day 203 Isaiah 28-30 Isaiah 28-30 YAHOVAH Woe Drunkards Ephraim Yeshua Messiah Acts 3 Refreshing Pagan Christmas Easter Sabbath Commandments Once Saved Always Saved Fig Tree End Times America Prophecy In this in-depth Bible study we examine Isaiah 28 through 30 verse by verse. YAHOVAH declares woe to the crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower on the head of the fat valleys overcome with wine. A mighty strong one comes as a tempest of hail, a destroying storm, and a flood of overflowing waters that casts them down. The hasty fruit before summer is eaten immediately — learn the parable of the fig tree. In that day YAHOVAH of hosts becomes a crown of glory and diadem of beauty to the remnant of His people, giving the spirit of judgment and strength at the gate. Yet priests and prophets have erred through wine and strong drink (pride). Tables are full of vomit with no clean place. Whom shall He teach knowledge? Those weaned from milk. Precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little. With stammering lips and another tongue He speaks to His people as they proclaim the prophecies. This is the rest that causes the weary to rest and the refreshing they would not hear. Peter quotes this in Acts 3:19-26: repent and be converted so sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing come from the presence of YAHOVAH, who sends Messiah Yeshua. Heaven receives Him until the times of restitution of all things spoken by the prophets. Moses said YAHOVAH would raise up a Prophet like him — hear Him or be destroyed from among the people. Yeshua was sent first to bless by turning everyone from their iniquities. Sin is transgression of the law. Smoking is not the issue — keeping Christmas (Saturnalia), Easter (Ishtar), Sunday instead of the seventh-day Sabbath, and worshiping as the heathen do are sins the prophets forbade. Churches teach you no longer need to obey the Ten Commandments. Once saved always saved is a covenant with death and agreement with hell, taking refuge in lies and falsehood. YAHOVAH lays in Zion a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes shall not make haste. He lays judgment to the line and righteousness to the plummet and sweeps away the refuge of lies. Your covenant with death shall be disannulled. The overflowing scourge will trample those who hide under falsehood. Woe to Ariel, the city where David dwelt. YAHOVAH camps against it, lays siege, and brings it down so speech comes low from the dust like a familiar spirit. Multitudes of strangers become like dust and chaff. In an instant He visits with thunder, earthquake, storm, tempest, and devouring fire. Nations fighting Zion are like a hungry man who dreams he eats but wakes empty. YAHOVAH pours out a spirit of deep sleep, closing the eyes of prophets and seers. The vision is a sealed book. Receive the Spirit of Truth by loving Yeshua and keeping His commandments (John 14:15); then pray to do the greater works of warning the people. People draw near with their mouths and honor with their lips but their heart is far away; their fear is taught by the precepts of men. Woe to the rebellious children who take counsel but not of YAHOVAH, adding sin to sin by going down to Egypt and trusting Pharaoh’s shadow. They will not hear the law of YAHOVAH (the Ten Commandments and clean-eating covenant). They tell the seers “see not” and the prophets “prophesy not right things — speak smooth things, prophesy deceits.” Get the Holy One of Israel out of the way. This iniquity is a breach ready to fall suddenly like a high wall. He breaks it as a potter’s vessel so no shard remains. National pride and debt come to a head in one day, one hour — like a thief in the night if you are not watching (Mark 13, Matthew 24). In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength — yet they would not. YAHOVAH waits to be gracious. Blessed are they that wait for Him. Cast away graven images, crosses, statues, and molten ornaments as a menstrual cloth. Then He gives rain for seed, plentiful bread, large pastures, and streams on every high hill in the day of great slaughter when the towers fall. The light of the moon becomes as the sun and the sun sevenfold. YAHOVAH binds up the breach of His people. The name of YAHOVAH comes from afar, burning with anger, lips full of indignation, tongue a devouring fire. His breath reaches the neck. You shall have a song as in the night of a holy solemnity — the Song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32). Through the voice of YAHOVAH the Assyrian is beaten down. Tophet is prepared, deep and large, with fire and much wood; the breath of YAHOVAH kindles it like a stream of brimstone when the bowls of wrath are poured out.
