Take a walk in and around Tokyo Chikatetsu-narimasu Station　地下鉄成増駅構内・周辺を散歩

Narimasu Subway Station is a Tokyo Metro station located in Narimasu 2-chome, Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Situated at the westernmost tip of Itabashi Ward, right next to Wako City in Saitama Prefecture near the prefectural border, this area is extremely popular due to its outstanding access to the city center and high level of convenience for daily life. 1. Served by Two Lines and Excellent Access Narimasu Station is served by two subway lines: the Yurakucho Line and the Fukutoshin Line. ・Direct service to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya: Using the Fukutoshin Line, you can reach Ikebukuro in about 10 minutes, Shinjuku-sanchome in about 15 minutes, and Shibuya in about 25 minutes—all without transferring. ・Direct service to Ginza and Yurakucho: The Yurakucho Line provides direct service to Iidabashi, Yurakucho, and Toyosu. ・Access to Yokohama: Since the Fukutoshin Line operates through service with the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Minatomirai Line, you can reach Yokohama Station and Motomachi-Chinatown Station on a single train. 2. Transfer to “Narimasu Station” on the Tobu Tojo Line “Narimasu Station” on the Tobu Tojo Line is located right outside the station (about a 2-minute walk from Exit 5). Although there is no underground passage connecting the two lines, so you’ll need to go above ground, you can reach Ikebukuro Station in just one stop (about 13 minutes) by taking an Express or Semi-Express train on the Tobu Tojo Line. In effect, it functions as a “station serving three lines.” 3. A Lively “Station Area” and Excellent Shopping Environment Unusually for a subway station, when you emerge above ground, you’ll find a very bustling commercial area stretching along the Kawagoe Kaido (National Route 254). ・Five Shopping Districts: Between the station and Narimasu Station on the Tobu Line, there are lively shopping districts—including the “Narimasu Skip Village Shopping District”—packed with restaurants and drugstores. ・Plenty of Supermarkets: In addition to the 24-hour “Seiyu Narimasu Store,” the area around the station features the “Maruetsu Narimasu South Exit Store” and the “Seijo Ishii Ekia Narimasu Store,” so you’ll have no trouble with your daily shopping. ・Fun Fact: The historic first store (Narimasu Branch) of “Mos Burger,” a Japanese-born hamburger chain, is located at the south exit of Narimasu Station (near the Skip Village Shopping District). 4. A Hidden “Ramen Hotspot” For foodies, this area is known as one of Tokyo’s top hotspots for ramen and tsukemen. The station area is home to a concentration of top-tier ramen shops that have earned very high ratings on sites like Tabelog, including the legendary “Chuka Soba Benten,” which attracts fans from all over the country, and the long-established “Chuka Men-do Dotonbori.” 5. Neighborhood Living Environment Step into one of the side streets, and you’ll find a quiet residential area home to a diverse range of residents, from students living alone to families. Additionally, within walking distance is “Hikarigaoka Park,” one of the largest green spaces in Tokyo’s 23 wards.
