🚨 Pope Leo XIV“IGNORED” Black Priest? Viral Handshake Clip Sparks Backlash— FULL VIDEO REVEALS MORE👀

#popeleoxiv #popeleoxiv #vatican #catholicchurch #catholicnewsagency A viral video appeared to show Pope Leo XIV turning away from a Black priest who had extended his hand, triggering a wave of criticism and accusations online. But the fuller video provides important context that was missing from the short clip. 👀 The incident happened during Pope Leo XIV’s September 28 visit to Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Metz, France. The shortened footage spread rapidly on social media, with some viewers interpreting the moment as a deliberate snub or racial slight. However, longer footage shows Diego Ravelli, the Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations, approaching Pope Leo moments before he changes direction. TF1’s verification reported that the protocol official appeared to direct Leo toward the officials he was expected to greet. The longer sequence also shows Pope Leo greeting other Black clergy and Black attendees during the same cathedral visit. That doesn't tell us what Leo personally intended in the disputed moment, but it does provide context that the viral clip leaves out. So what actually happened? Was this a deliberate snub — or was a brief moment taken out of context? 🔥 In This Video: The viral Pope Leo XIV handshake clip The Black priest at the center of the controversy What the FULL video reveals The intervention by papal protocol Why Pope Leo suddenly changed direction Footage of Leo greeting other Black clergy How social media interpreted the moment What fact-checkers found What we can and cannot conclude from the footage Why the full context matters ⚠️ Important: The viral clip is authentic, but it does not establish that Pope Leo XIV intentionally refused the priest’s handshake because of race. The longer footage provides additional context, while the Pope’s personal intent cannot be determined with certainty from the video alone. 💬 What do YOU think after seeing the full footage?
