Welcome back to Skincare Club! Today I'm doing my skincare routine while having a bit of a rant about some things in the beauty industry that have been annoying me recently. From questionable skincare advertising and celebrity endorsements to sustainability claims and dermatologists jumping on viral skincare trends, there's quite a lot to get through / moan about!
First, we're talking about Clean Skin Club and their Skin to Soil composting programme. Can disposable face towels really be considered sustainable, and how much of the brand's environmental impact is actually being addressed?
Then there's Kendall Jenner's Anua skincare advert, which left me wondering why brands spend so much money on celebrity endorsements that don't even make the products look convincing.
We're also looking at Caudalie's Anti-Hair Loss Serum. And finally, Natalie O'Neill's viral tretinoin and azelaic acid routine!
This is a slightly different kind of video for me. A bit of skincare, a bit of beauty industry gossip and a few opinions you might not agree with.
Let me know what you've seen in the beauty industry recently that's annoyed you!
