O-Train Snapshot Update - Bayview to Walkley Station - March 5, 2023

Work continues to expand the O-Train network in the East, West and South of Ottawa, in a project called Stage 2 LRT. Progress is quite noticeable throughout the network, as stations, tracks and the necessary infrastructure is getting built. This video provides a snapshot update of the current progress seen on the Southern Extension of O-Train Line 2, which will expand service South of Bayview station to Limebank and the Airport. Stations seen in this video include Bayview, Corso Italia, Dow's Lake, Carleton, Mooney's Bay and Walkley. Transport Canada restrictions and guidelines do not allow drones to operate within 5.6km of the airport, and as such, nearly all of the stations south of Walkley can not be viewed by drone.
