Japanese fishing towns wary of nuclear water release

The water came into contact with hazardous materials within the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, but then underwent a treatment process that removed most radioactive elements before its release. Despite assurances from the Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) and experts with Japanese and international authorities, some local residents in Fukushima remain wary of the future.
