April 1943, a hillside in Tunisia. A British soldier fires at a German Tiger tank. His shot bounces off, and the turret starts turning towards him. Soon after, the Tiger sits abandoned, its turret jammed by a single hit, and the British have captured the first complete Tiger tank the Western Allies ever got their hands on.
This is the true story of Tiger 131. The shot that stopped it never broke through its armour, so how do you stop a 57-tonne tank? We go inside the Tiger to see what each of its five crewmen did, show why one damaged turret ring was enough, and rebuild the fight for Point 174 in 3D. Then, almost seventy years later, a soldier's son walks into The Tank Museum and starts to wonder whether this was his father's Tiger.
