Priority Marine Installing one of many Dock poles. Just a quick view of How to install a dock pole or pile into the water and below about 12 feet. First a jetted water stream opens and forces mud to out flow from the bottom and then a pole or pile is lowered into the jetted hole and jetted more as lowered into position. Notice how long the pole is from the top of the boom on the barge. After the pole is hammered with a pile driver.
