Clarifying his role in the discussions, the MLA stated that he represented only the portion of Papum Pare district falling under his constituency that shares a boundary with Assam. He explained that the issue primarily concerns the erection of boundary pillars for proper demarcation and should not be viewed as a major boundary dispute. According to the resolutions discussed, the erection of boundary pillars in Category 1 and Category 2 villages is scheduled to be completed within two months from the date of the order. Work in Category 3 villages will be taken up in the subsequent phase, after the initial two-month period. The MLA expressed hope that the boundary issue concerning the 14th Doimukh Assembly Constituency could be resolved within a year. However, he clarified that the exact timeline for completing the entire process cannot be guaranteed at this stage. Reassuring the people of Doimukh, Nabam Vivek stated that he remains committed to addressing the long-pending boundary matter and ensuring that the demarcation process moves forward towards a lasting resolution. #arunachalpradesh #nabamvivek #assamarunachalboundary #boundary #assam #boundarydispute
