Jocelyn Hill Hike Reflection

This Hike up Jocelyn Hill gave me some time to think about a pattern I'm starting to see in myself. I want a real connection with someone, but sometimes I wonder if I push people away when they start getting close. Maybe part of me expects to get hurt and tries to keep me safe by creating distance first. I don't have it all figured out. I'm learning to notice when I'm reacting to something that's actually happening and when I'm reacting to what I'm afraid might happen. There were some tough uphill stretches on this hike, but the views over the inlet were worth stopping for.
