The sun sets, birds fly home, lamps are lit on the bank — and his own home is far away. The plain is so wide that the sky seems lower than the trees; the river is so clear that the moon lies right beside his boat. This ink-wash video takes the poem one line and one picture at a time, from dusk into moonlight, and ends with the poet chanting all four lines slowly.
