I Was NOT Ready for What Was Hiding in the Dark

Psalm 2 takes the creepy elevator horror from the first game and turns it into a nightmare of disturbing rooms, dark hallways, strange creatures, unexpected jump scares, and way too many reasons to be afraid of the dark. 😭 In this horror gameplay, I’m making my way through different floors and rooms while trying to figure out what the game actually wants me to do. At first, everything seems manageable… until the lights go out, the doors start acting suspicious, and I realize I’m definitely not alone. Psalm 2 had me constantly saying “I’m not scared” while very clearly being scared. 😂 Between exploring creepy apartments, dealing with terrifying rooms, searching for keys, opening doors I absolutely did NOT want to open, and getting ambushed by things hiding in the darkness, this game kept my stress levels way too high. There are plenty of funny moments mixed in with the horror too, including my attempts to communicate with ghosts, my completely unnecessary conversations about football, the struggle to throw a ball, and the moment I discovered a very strange dog who somehow became one of the safest things in the entire game. Psalm 2 also delivers some genuinely disturbing visuals, creepy encounters, unexpected scares, and moments where I could feel something was about to happen before it actually did. And somehow, after everything this game put me through, the ending gave me one of the most unexpected reactions of the entire video.
